The Society's Web Site and semi-annual Newsletters will specialize in the promotion of Muscular Dystrophy Associations and Allied disorders organizations and of health related sites as resources to help people help themselves who are concerned with these neuromuscular disorders. The Society tries to be open and unbiased to muscular dystrophy and allied disorder issues internationally, to integrate patient, researchers, clinician information world wide.

You can help!
The Internet is so immense it can easily overwhelm you with good and bad information. On this site SMDI (I) wants to highlight, with your help, unbiased, non-technical disability/disorder information for muscular dystrophy and allied disorder patients and organizations around the world.

Since the Internet is such a large place it is impossible for us to keep up to date with all the pertinent non-technical information regarding the disorders. You can help make the Internet road to good disability/disorders information easier for yourself and fellow traveler's by, when you find articles and information you feel of value, please pass this on to us via e-mail or ordinary mail service, with the relevant web site address etc. If we use these articles we will credit you with finding them as well as the source of the article

Please check 'things we don't do'. To share this information, we are starting on this site SMDI online.
