Founded for persons with Muscular Dystrophy (MD), from Digby to Pubnico in Southwestern Nova Scotia. We currently have about a dozen members.

Our role consists primarily of advocating for the individuals with MD in our community, province and nationally, while being a source of information.

With our annual Jonathan Thompson Rallys and Shamrock Drives, the SW Nova Chapter raises funds for Medical Equipment and helps researchers find a cure.

Muscular Dystrophy is a condition that effects development and generation of muscle tissue in the body.
